Bonjour and welcome!

I’m Sophie Blondin, a worldly French American actress that was raised between Texas and Paris. Growing up amidst diverse cultures, I developed a deep sense of empathy and a curiosity for understanding people. My acting journey, initiated at age 10, has been a vibrant tapestry of experiences, learning, and evolving.

In the heart of Paris, I was classically trained for four transformative years at Cours Florent, absorbing the rich, artistic ambiance and honing my craft in a city filled with art and culture. My roles as Cecily in Oscar Wilde’s "The Importance of Being Earnest," and Rosaura in Goldoni’s "The Two Venetian Twins" not only enriched my theatrical experience but also deepened my love for the stage.

Seeking new horizons, I ventured to Los Angeles, where I embraced the Meisner technique during a two-year intensive study at Studio 4. My pursuit of authenticity led me to The Imagined Life, where I spent a year mastering the art of imaginative acting, ensuring genuineness across a spectrum of roles. Further, my three-year dedication to rigorous scene study and profound character development at RAW Acting Studios has been pivotal in shaping my approach to storytelling with an emphasis on Radical Authentic Work.

My specialized training extends into the realms of motion capture and on-camera fighting. At The Imaginarium Studios in London and the Mocap Vaults in Los Angeles, I refined my motion capture skills, exploring the fascinating intersection of technology and performance. My proficiency in martial arts, firearm handling, and wire work has not only enhanced my on-camera fighting skills but also empowers me to face any on-screen adversary with finesse and conviction.

My journey, from the charming boulevards of Paris to the bustling streets of Hollywood, has been nothing short of a dream, blending charm, vulnerability, and tenacity in each role I undertake. I invite you to explore my world, where each character, scene, and performance is a piece of my heart, shared with you.

À bientôt, Sophie Blondin
